Olivia is a multimedia journalist based in DR Congo for The Economist, covering central Africa.
She was previously based in Sierra Leone where she shot videos for Al Jazeera, took breaking news photos for Reuters and recorded radio pieces for BBC, VOA and Deutsche Welles. She has also worked as a photographer and videographer to UN agencies & NGOs. She has taken on assignments for International Rescuee Committee, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, UNops, UNFPA, UNDP, KFW, Mercy Corps and Comic Relief to name a few.
